Eli na Top Shelf 2.0.!
Spet ena vesela novička. Že pred kakim mesecem me je kontaktiral Brett iz Topshelf comix stripovske založbe, ki je med drugim izdaja take avtorje kot so Ulf K, Craig thompson in Jeffrey Brown. Zasledili so Eli na blogu Candy or Medicine, s katero sodelujem od druge številke dalje. Kakorkoli že strip se jim je dopadel, s Katerino sva pripravila angleško verzijo stripa in sedaj čakam na njeno objavo.
Danes sem dobil mejl, da na založbi pripravljajo novo verzijo comix sectiona imenovano Top Shelf 2.0.
“ The name for the new webcomics section is “Top Shelf 2.0.” It’s sort
of a tongue-in-cheek statement about the re-launch, plus it’s catchy
and it’s obvious from the name that it has something to do with
digital technology. It’s like a little online spinoff of the big Top
Shelf, like MTV2, or BBC Two, etc.
The launch date is set for Friday, May 16 — just under two weeks from
now!. We’ll put up a bunch of new stories on that day, and then a new
update every weekday (M-F) after that. We’ll update things on a
rolling basis: one day might be a short story by Lizz Luney, another
day might be a new chapter of an ongoing Michael DeForge serial,
another day might be a half-dozen illustrations by Nik Daum, etc. I’m
currently mapping out the schedule for the first couple weeks and will
let you know when that’s ready. At least one day a week will be
“archive spotlight day,” where we bring up a story from the old
version of the Top Shelf webcomics project, polish it up, and present
it to the adoring public as that day’s update.”
Skratka šestnajstega bomo videli kako stvar zgleda, in potem bomo videli, kdaj pride gor Eli.
